Samsung SPH-A460 Compatible USB Data Cable CSAMM04-03 (DS)

To make Sync work with Samsung A500, the A500 cell phone software needs to be updated from version VH10 to VI16 at your nearest Sprint store.

Samsung SPH-A460 For N400 and N240, you don't need to update cell phone software.
Samsung SPH-A460 For Dialer, A500 works with current cell phone software version VH10 or later version.
Samsung SPH-A460 N240 does not work with Dialer since N240 does not have capability to connect to the internet.

This cable has two USB connectors. The red is a true USB and can be used to connect to the internet but cannot be used to sync information. The green connector can be used to sync but runs at the speed of a serial cable. The OEM usb data cable only allows you to connect to the internet. It does not allow you to sync the phones data.
